As a seasoned senior level Academic Advising and Student Affairs professional with 16+ years of experience trailblazing innovative student success and retention practices, I do believe that I’m duty-bound to help develop and foster the next waves of Academic Advising and Student Affairs professionals!
My strategy for accomplishing my duty is simple… Offer virtual trainings to graduate programs created to educate and develop aspiring higher ed professionals seeking careers in Academic Advising and Student Affairs. Additionally... Offer virtual and on-site trainings to current Academic Advising and Student Affairs professionals.
My virtual trainings aim to both supplement and complement the support graduate programs provide their students through the lens of a senior higher ed practitioner. My virtual trainings also aim to bolster the relevant professional development opportunities available to practicing Academic Advising and Student Affairs professionals.

The virtual training discusses 15 areas of focus graduate students need to focus on during their program especially when completing fieldwork or any internship experience. The 15 areas provide additional structure and support that assist graduate students with preparing their students to enter the higher education job market. Competency in the 15 areas should provide job seekers with a competitive edge!
